MILE Team in Terp Magazine: VR Game Boosting Dyslexic Youth Reading Skills
In a recent article, Terp Magazine spotlighted work co-developed by Co-Director DJ Bolger, Founding Team Member Juan Uriagereka, and Professor Drew Baden, led by CEO Anne-Laurence Nemorin. The team co-developed IRIS Reads, a VR reading intervention app that focuses on foundational reading skills. The app has shown measurable gains in student reading performance during school-based trials. The immersive format helps students build phonemic awareness, decoding skills, and confidence in a distraction-free environment.
