MILE is excited to host its third annual advocacy event focusing on teacher education for literacy.

In 2024, MILE began its annual advocacy day celebration through a partnership withthe University of Maryland's School of Public Policy, Morgan State University's School of Education and Urban Studies, and the Karabelle Pizzigati Initiative. Now, MILE is spearheading its own advocacy celebration, MILE Advocates, to continue these efforts.
